Wayland Economic Restructuring Committee Hosting Small Businesses Training Series
Wayland Main Street’s Economic Restructuring Committee (W.E.R.C.) will be hosting a five part small business training series designed for business owners looking to build legacy, retain talent, and grow wealth. The training titled “WERCshops: Legacy Series” will be presented by David Olson, Jr. and Nathan Morales of Principal Financial Group, a global investment leader and Fortune 500 company helping people and companies around the world build, protect, and advance their financial well-being with retirement, insurance, and asset management expertise. Workshop topics will include: introduction to financial wellness, attracting and retaining talent, employee benefits, addressing big challenges for growing your business, and converting business revenues into personal wealth. The event is FREE and open to the public. Downtown, home-based, and prospective business owners are all encouraged to attend. Seating is limited. The workshop series is scheduled to begin Tuesday, March 13 and will take place each Tuesday for five consecutive weeks. Guests can select to attend a specific week/training or the entire series. The event will be held weekly from 8:00am-9:00am at Jayda Gale Distillery; 152 S. Main Street, Wayland, MI 49348; breakfast is included with registration.
